Village with 1,100 inhabitants 13 km north-west of Ajka, at the western foot of the Bakony mountains. Soil of the village is made fruitful by the brook Hajagos from the north and Tegye water running into the brook from the west. Medieval church of the village was first mentioned in documents in 1332. The current Catholic church was built upon the commission of bishop Károly Esterházy in 1798. Tower with arched spire and a wide tympanum can be seen on the frontage of the Calvinist church. Another famous building is the Noszlopy mansion built in peasant baroque style around 1820.
