A large village with a population of 3,758 20 km southwest of Kalocsa on the Main Channel of the Danube Valley. The Baroque Saint Imre church was built by Imre Csáky, archbishop of Kalocsa, in 1728. The Baroque holiday home of the archepiscopacy, built in 1739, is now a children's home. The cellar village, consisting of about 1,000 cellars and wine-press houses carved into the loess wall on the opposite bank of the channel, is a valuable group of monuments of rural architecture. There is a nature conservation area between the cellar village and the main channel. A traditional program in the village is the wine festival celebrated on Orbán's day at the end of May.
