The history of Sopron and its surroundings in the modern and contemporary times. The exhibition is the chronological continuation of the exhibition of archeology in the Fabricius house. The history of the political, social and cultural life of Sopron and its surroundings is presented with documents in seven halls. The Csatkai memorial room can be found here. Endre Csatkai was a museum director and art historian, who made the topography of the monuments in Sopron and made a survey of the arts relics of the town.
