The largest display of the Balaton National Park is situated near the border of Salföld, the village in the Káli basin, which preserves the relics of traditional folk architecture. It displays indigenous Hungarian domestic animals: mangalica pigs, Hungarian shepherd dog species, Racka sheep (Hungarian variety of sheep), grey cattle and buffalos. You can also visit the photo exhibition called "The Romantic Park" presenting the photos of Balaton Highlands taken 100 years ago and today.
Its location is optimal as it is situated on the boundary of Káli Basin and Badacsony area in a small village, which preserves the architecture of folk art.A souvenir shop, a herb garden, a buffet and a playground await visitors.
