Amerigo Tot Memorial Room
Located in the beautiful historic castle district of Budapest, we have been working since 1953 as the oldest private fine art gallery in Hungary.
Our three storey atelier-house and beautiful sculpture garden welcomes our visitors and customers with a homely and warm atmosphere. We show works of the best modern and contemporary Hungarian painters, sculptors and etchers. The managing director of the gallery provides professional advise in art historical questions and gives background information about the represented artworks and artists.
On the top floor of the Koller Gallery is the atelier apartment of the Hungarian-Italian sculptor Amerigo Tot. In his honour and remembrance a permanent memorial room as been installed. Beside his private objects, sculptural instruments, numerous artworks and documentations are exhibited. Enter the world of an internationally recognised sculptor, who not only belonged to the Pope's circle of friends, but also participated in the movie "The Godfather".
