St. George's head-relic was preserved here, which attracted thousands of pilgrims here. The warning in Latin can still be read on the old threshold of the chapel: IN LIMIE NO SEDETO (Do not sit on the threshold.) St. Stephen's only son, Prince St. Emeric, who died at a young age, took his vow of chastity here. In front of the chapel you can see a statue of the young prince.
