Village on the right bank of the river Zagyva in Mátraalja, 14 km from Hatvan, ont road No. 21. The curiosity of the Roman Catholic church is the carved pulpit which tells the life of Saint Elizabeth. The Town Hall is in the mellow old Mansion of the Schlossberger family. Besides this there are a lot of peasant houses from the last century, with typical gabled roof with collar beam and joist. The only bulge in the surroundings is the Sós Hill, but the river Zagyva has also a lot of natural beauties for the excursionists.
