Village from Árpád's age with 97 inhabitants and a layout typical of the Őrség. The 13th century Catholic church, decorated with original frescos, is a monument of national renown. The turn-of-the-century image of the village is retained practically intact by the peasant houses of historic value. Due to its excellent scenic features the place is gradually emerging as a holiday village. The area of the village is part of the Őrség National Park.
