Large village with 9,038 inhabitants next to Pest (road No. 4), between Vecsés and Monor. It developed dynamically in the last decade. Taking advantage of the favourable location of the village, more and more industrial, commercial and service enterprises are based here.
An important sight in the village is the experimental institute of the Veterinary Faculty of Szent István University (Dóra manor), which specializes in research, teaching, gene preservation and animal breeding.
The annual horse and coach driving competitions attract many spectators. The village is proud of its regular visitors.
