Village with 286 inhabitants at the northern foot of the Villány Mountains (road No. 58). The origins of the settlement go back to the Árpádian age. The 13th century Gothic Calvinist church is being renovated. Its tower is Baroque. At present it is being renovated. The wooden ceiling of the church was decorated with painted Hungarian ornaments in the 18th century. The farm-buildings, dwelling-houses and press houses are examples of rustic architecture. The reviving vineyard contributes to the gastronomic offers. Its 200 hectare green belt, which is a nature conservation area, is ideal for hiking and excursions.
