Village with 1,237 inhabitants at the southern foot of the Bakony. It is not more than 10 kms from Veszprém and Lake Balaton. Because of its good location more and more tourists - lovers of nature and riding, hunters -, arrive here. The recently opened tennis centre plays an important role in active tourism. Jóska Savanyó, the last outlaw of the Bakony is buried in the Catholic cemetery. His memory is preserved in the Savanyó Jóska Days at the beginning of August. Traditional event in September is the picturesque vintage procession. Another traditional event is the Meeting of Brass bands with the participation of art groups of nationalities on the first Sunday of June. In the village you can find two hotels and restaurants.
