Village with 2,777 inhabitants 10 km south of Lake Tisza. The Gothic monument church built in the 14th century serves the Calvinist population of the village. Szapáry chapel renovated in 1994 is located in Pusztataksony also belonging to the village. The former Hungarian prime minister Gyula Szapáry and his family lie in the crypt of the chapel.
