Small village with 1,750 inhabitants on the left bank of Tarna 13 km to the west of Heves. The curiosity of the Roman Catholic church in the village centre is the coffin-shaped main altar. There are two statues representing Saint Joseph and Saint John of Nepomuk. The Baroque castle built by the Almássy family in 1780 houses one of the two police museums of the country. There is a hot water bath providing pleasant relaxation.
