Village with 508 inhabitants. It was first mentioned in records in 1326. Probably it had a congregation at that time, too (judging by its name). The Calvinist church was built in 1787, it has painted coffered ceiling. The Roman Catholic church was built in honour of Saint George on the site of the medieval church of the village. According to traditions the old church was from 1202. In 2000 the village received a special prize of the the European Village Restoration award by the judgement of an international jury.
