Village with 700 inhabitants in the north-west of county Vas, at the border of the Small Plain and the Low-Alps, 13 km from Sárvár. The village was formed when Alsószeleste and Felsőszeleste were united in 1952. Its main attractions are the spa bath based on the medicinal water with a salt content of 4.600 mg/l and the 13 ha arboretum established in 1872.
