It is situated west of Marcali. In the first half of the 20th century there were three independent villages here. It is a several kilometres long, one-street village with 700 inhabitants. In the north you can find Somogyfehéregyház, in the middle - Felsőzsitfa, which belonged to the Bő family in the age of Árpáds, its mediaeval church still stands in the fringe of the forest. In the south you can find Szőcsénypuszta, which was an important village in the Middle Ages. At the end of the 19th century Gábor Véssey had a beautiful mansion built, which houses the Vocational School of Forestry today. It is perhaps the most beautiful school of the county with its recently built buildings and halls of residence. The 17ha primeval park offers hiking possibilities. Holidays for students, a forest school, sports and training camps are organized here regularly.
