Going from Iharosberény to Csurgó you can take an access road to get to the village. It was first mentioned in records in 1329. Brook Berki crosses the dead-end village of about 200 inhabitants. It is surrounded by a large territory of continuous forest with 10 fishponds, due to which it is especially rich in birds. Bird lovers can meet as many as 100 bird species. Its common guests include sea-eagles and otters. The sheltery forest is the habitat for deers, fallow-deers, roe-deers and boars, but a lucky tourist can even meet a wild cat. It attracts those who wish to relax in quiet, peaceful evironment as well as those who like hiking. Pictures of Somogycsicsó |
