The village of nearly 1,000 inhabitants is situated 12 km from Marcali. Three of its four mansions have survived. The Mansion Hotel awaits visitors with its majestic primeval park. The renewed former Márffy-mansion awaits holiday-makers and tourists. In the village you can find several mansions, the Maár-mansion serves as a co-operative's office, the Bogyai-mansion is a community centre, the Ördöngös or Szellem (Ghost)-mansion has ruined in the course of time.
