The village is situated 20 km from Nagykanizsa. In the middle of the village you can find the nicely renewed former Pálffy-mansion, in the park of which there are several hundred-year-old plane- trees. The local council is planning to establish accommodation facilities in the loft of the building. Cooking facility is provided in the building, the cultural house is suitable for groups of 15-20 persons who can sleep in sleeping bags. Dr. Ferenc Mező was born in the village, his house of birth can still be seen.
