Village with 2,054 inhabitants east of peak Pilis. The Roman Catholic church in baroque style was built in 1700, with stones from the monastery garden arranged around it. The nearby monastery garden with ruins of the monastery founded in 1184 by King Béla III, granted to French Cistercians. The gorge of Pilisszentkereszt is passage of streamlet Kovácsi-patak between high rocks.
