Village between Pilisvörösvár and Solymár in Buda hills. The Roman Catholic church with its precious statues was built in Baroque style in the 18th century. Its bell is one of the oldest ones in the county. The dolomite-living flax lives, uniquely in the world, on the slopes of Kis-Szénás. Its nearest relatives live in the Balkán mountains. The Ördögtorony (Devil's tower) near the village is a 31 metre high cliff, it is a popular place for rock climbers. An outstanding event in the life of the village is the patronal festival on Márton's day. |
