Village with 600 inhabitants 9 km southwards of Pápa, at the edge of Bakonyalja region. Baroque parish-church of the village was built by Károly Esterházy, bishop of Eger, from 1787 till 1793. It was inaugurated in honour of Saint Anne, and rebuilt in 1882. Carmelite church of Attyapuszta at the eastern border of the village was inaugurated by the order in 1946, recently the monks were settled back to Pápakovácsi.
