The village has 98 permanent inhabitants but it has about the same number of owners of holiday homes, who spend most of the summer in the picturesque neighbourhood of this village hidden in the Bakony hills. It is a popular resort with foreign holiday makers, most of whom are the German inhabitants or their descendants relocated 50 years ago. As the village has many visitors, it finds it very important to regularly look after the image of the settlement, e.g. at the roundabout colourful annual flowers are placed to decorate the main square (about 1,000-1,500 flower plants) every year.
