Village with 2,500 inhabitants 7 km west of Veszprém. The provincial Baroque Betyárcsárda (Inn of the Outlaws), an 18th century building, rebuilt in 1834, now offering hospitable programmes, lies in the fields of the village on the road to Tapolca. South of the village in Baláca-puszta excavations of the remains of a Roman villa of a farmstead and the adjacent tumulus at Likas-domb, earning international renown, can be visited.
