A village with 1,567 inhabitants 20 km east of Kaposvár at national highway No. 61. The imposing Catholic church was built in the last century. The former Schmiddeg mansion, an 18th century rococo style building, now houses an archives. It is called Vigyázó mansion by the locals. The earthworks of an ancient mound can be seen on Szalacska Hill. There is an 18th century chapel next to it.
