Lepsény with its 3,000 inhabitants is located 6 kms from Lake Balaton. The Purgly mansion (listed monument) can be found near the Calvinist church. Other listed monument in Lepsény is the former Nádasdy mansion in a 6 hectare park The exhibition on local history and ethnography in the library of the village presents the history of the settlement. Outstanding events: Wine competition in March, Cultural and art week in July, National Guards' festival at the end of September, vintage procession and ball in October.
