A village with 525 inhabitants 8 km north of Putnok in the Cserhát Mountains. The poet, Mihály Tompa, was one of the pastors of the village. The years he spent here are presented in the Mihály Tompa Memorial House. The Calvinist church, originally built in Gothic style, was considerably transformed in the 18th century. The Mohos (Mossy) Lakes are interesting peat-bog marshlands, in part sudds.
