Village with 1,840 inhabitants 10 km from Szekszárd (national highway No. 6). The village was formed before the Turkish occupation. After World War II. 90% of the German population was displaced, and mostly Székelys from Bukovina and families from Transylvania and Slovakia were settled here. The Village House of the community was planned by Imre Makovecz in 1996. Programmes: Cock cooking competition on 20th August and one-in-hand, two-in-hand and four-in-hand coach competitions.
