A village with 1,930 inhabitants 17 km south of Jászberény. It was first mentioned in a document by King Matthias in 1458 under the name Boldogháza. At that time it was inhabited by Jazygian people.
Sights: Roman Catholic church built in the 19th century. There is an open-air bath with pools of cold and warm water in the village.
The traditional Jazygian World Meeting is held in Jászboldogháza, between 30 June and 2 July 2006.
