Town with 9,822 inhabitants. Blessed Virgin's church built on 14th century Gothic foundations, reconstructed in Baroque style (1743-1759), extended in neo-Classical style (1826). In the cemetery there are a Baroque votive chapel (1744) and a Rococo Calvary with Holy Grave chapel. The life of the Jászság region of farms is presented by a collection of local history.
