A village of 860 inhabitants, 70 km from the western border, lying on the two sides of main road No. 8. It was first mentioned in records in 1268, under the name 'Pereszlek'. Its first known owner was Tamás Peresztegi, from 1275. The St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church is from the 15th century and it was rebuilt in 1758 in Baroque style, a tower was added, only the Gothic shrine remained. A group of 12 lakes surrounded by beautiful woods offers a variety of recreation near the village. In the holiday resort consisting of 9 streets you can find a camping-site, an open bath, a restaurant and other services.
