The small village of 400 inhabitants is situated in picturesque hills along main road No. 7. Its natural surroundings is suitable for relaxation in summer and in winter, too. The history of the village dates back to the 15th century: first it belonged to Szenyérvár, later it was owned by the chapter of Esztergom. Its sights include the St. Donat chapel built in the 18th century, the belltower built in the 19th century, and the folk press-house and the cellar in Bari-hill. The surrounding forests and hills provide relaxation for the lovers of nature, while the thermal baths nearby (Hévíz, Zalakaros) and the small towns (Keszthely, Marcali) offer various programmes for visitors.
