Village on the northern part of Somogy county 18 kms from Lake Balaton. Its history started only in the 19th century when the Inkey family settled Germans in the village. In 1860 the Zichy family bought the estate and they were the landowners until the beginning of the 20th century. The village surrounded by forests is situated in a sheltered valley. The forests of acacia, oak and pine trees are ideal habitats of deers, roes and boars.
