The village is the centre of the Principális region supplied with full infrastructure. In the Sándor Petőfi Memorial Library with 11,000 volumes you can find access to the Internet as well as information on the programmes of the surrounding villages. Near the village, in the Szoros-hill you can find nicely renewed cellars where you can get refreshment after enjoying the panorama of Öreghegy (Old Hill). Those who take the blue sign tourist route, can taste the water of the springs of Kökényes-hill. The traditional horse race has been held annually since 1993 with the participation of horse riders from 4 counties. The programme includes ox-roasting, a piglet-chasing competition, a rubber castle, pony riding. The preparation of establishing a thermal bath by the local council is underway.
