A village with 300 inhabitants at the eastern foot of the Mecsek Mountains. Name of the village is first mentioned in records in 1372 among the estates of the Cistercian Abbey of Cikátor. The baroque Roman Catholic church was built in 1846. Its period altar piece came from the former Pauline monastery of Jakab Hill in Pécs. The peasant houses with wooden posts and ornate facades are characteristic sights of the village. |
