The small resort village is built into Veresegyháza by now, however saved its independent administration. The area of the village was purchased by Samu Roheim (father of Géza Roheim, the famous ethnographer) from the episcopate of Vác. Upon having divided the area into estates, it was called Roheim colony. The hilly, wooded surroundings of the village are excellent for taking excursions.
