Small village with only 240 inhabitants in Szigetköz, 25 km northeast of Győr, along the Danube. The village belonged to Pozsony county on the other bank till 1886. The road running from the port to the village is lined with a wonderful row of plane-trees. The gallery woods along the Danube and the fields surrounding them are a popular area of hunters and tourists.
