Beautifully situated village with 996 inhabitants 17 km southeast of Balassagyarmat. Gothic Catholic church with tower of the 14th century. Jánossy mansion with four corner turrets partly in baroque, partly in neoclassical style of the 17th century. Further sights include the Sréter and Simonyi mansions.
