Village with 710 residents 40 km east of Mátészalka on road No. 49. Border crossing place to Romania. Its exceptionally beautiful Reformed church from the age of Arpads is the oldest of the churches along the river Szamos. It was rebuilt at the beginning of the 18th century. The small wooden hall and the interior wooden ceiling were made in 1761. The forests of the village called Bűr and Géci-sűrű are protected. The territory of these forests is more than 120ha with old oak, elm and ash trees.
