This settlement of 3900 inhabitants is 14 km south of Ózd, by road 25, in the valley of Hódos brook. The beautiful environment, the forests, the ponds make it perfectly suitable for excursions and resting. The Collection of Local and Religious History tells about the history of farming and industry in the village. In every fourth year together with some other villages having similar names they organize an event called Nádasd Days.
