Village with 3,200 inhabitants 8 km south of Hatvan. Ethnographically it belongs to the Palóc region on river Galga. Monument church of the village was built in 1781. The village is famous for its colourful folk costumes and special white embroidery. The rich folk art traditions of Boldog can be admired in the House of Regional Traditions.
