Town with 22,098 inhabitants 10 km north of Békéscsaba. From Dánfok, next to the town facilities for river trips on the Körös and cycling on the dam are available. Baroque Calvinist church built in 1755, with the second largest organ in Hungary. In the Roman Catholic church is decorated by an altarpiece by Soma Orlai-Petrich. Exhibitions include: Mátyás Jantyik Museum, School Museum, Békés Regional House.
