Village with 619 inhabitants 7 km from Őriszentpéter, in the south-western corner of Vas county in the Őrség. It was first mentioned in documents in 1428. Bajánsenye is the second most important settlement in the region, the economic and cultural centre of the so called Belső (Inner)-Őrség. The settlement has significant role in traffic because of the international road border station and the construction of the Slovenian-Hungarian railway. It is part of the Őrség National Park. Besides its natural attractions there are good facilities for tourism, several restaurants and pensions await the visitors.
