in Bábolna:   Hotel - Sight - Travel Service - Business Travel

A town with nearly 4,000 inhabitants east of Győr, close to M1 motorway.
In compliance with the decree issued by Joseph II the State-owned Stud-farm started to operate in 1789. Bábolna is still famous for horse breeding.
An interesting sight is the Szapáry mansion, now used as the centre of the stud-farm. The history of the stud-farm is presented by a museum. The Hunters' museum and the Carriage Museum are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. all year round.
The International Review of Arab Breeding-stock is held at the beginning of August, and international show-jumping championships are organized as part of our national holiday on 20 August.
At the beginning of September the traditional International Farmers' Days of Bábolna are held accompanied by a cultural programme called Corn Festival.
