Village with 1,848 residents 15 km north-east of Barcs on the banks of the Rinya. The so called Turkish-well is a domed structure of the 16-17th centuries. The thermal bath is supplied with water of 70 °C. In the nature conservation area called Basakert you can find wonderful fields of poets' narcissus early spring. Its forests rich in game are popular with hunters arriving from abroad. The programmes attract thousands of visitors every year.
