Alsórajk is situated in the east of county Zala, 24 km from Nagykanizsa, along the channel Principális. The village is proud of its sculptor, Zsigmond Kisfaludi Strobl, who was born here in 1884. To commemorate this, a memorial room was opened. The village offers accommodation for nearly 30 persons, in the mansion and in private houses.
