Village with more than 1,300 inhabitants, about 2 kms from Hévíz and 5 kms from Keszthely. Due to its location tourism has a significant role in the village. Its family-friendly hotel is known all over the country. There are high standard private accommodations and camp sites. A fishing pond has just been formed. The Roman Catholic church in Alsópáhok is a listed monument.
