Village with 577 residents north of Kazincbarcika at the Slovakian border. The karstic cave-world was declared as part of the world heritage in 1995. The famous stalactite cave and the Aggtelek National Park are visited by tourists throughout the year. Organized events include the Aggtelek Arts Weeks, concerts in the cave, Village Days, Rock-Climbing-Days, Artists' Camps, open-air performances.
